8 Links to Bookmark for 2XKO Players
Welcome back to the Weekend Warmup.
I’m working on getting more of the dev team to share more about what they’re working on through these posts (thank you for all the suggestions so far). In the meantime, here’s a quick filler episode: if you’re a 2XKO player, here are the must-bookmark links you should check out if you want to get the most out of the game!
2XKO Wiki
Riot-hosted, community-written, no ads. The 2XKO Wiki is the definitive source for frame data, champion breakdowns, and system mechanics.
Fighting Game Glossary
Infil’s Fighting Game Glossary continues to be an amazing place for understanding overall fighting game terminology. The 2XKO section has plenty of video references!
start.gg Tournament Search
start.gg's Tournament Search lets you easily find local offline 2XKO tournaments and gatherings in your area. If you don’t see one, consider setting one up for you and your friends.
2XKO Community Events
If you’re an online warrior, you can earn in-game goodies for taking part in tournaments of all shapes and sizes. Check out start.gg’s 2XKO Community Events hub for all eligible events.
2X KOMBO
Community-created 2xkombo.gg features a combo creator tool, tracks local tournaments, and tracks a very-unofficial-but-discourse-generating ranking for top players.
SkinSpotlights 2XKO
Community engineer, skin curator and dataminer SkinSpotlights owns a spinoff channel for 2XKO. Check it out for high-quality previews of 2XKO’s skin catalogue.
Discord
2XKO has a couple of large community-owned Discords with different vibes like this one and this one. Finding your local FGC’s Discord is also a worthwhile adventure.
Community Resources Media Kit
Lastly, if you’re a TO or a creator, dive into the 2XKO Community Resources folder for champion renders, key art, and logos.
Local Spotlight
Down Back Tuesdays (Los Angeles, CA)

From the organisers: “DOWN BACK TUESDAYS is central LA's largest and longest-running fighting game event. It is a bi-weekly FGC tournament & meetup with an emphasis on community and good vibes. DBT is a welcoming place for all levels of skill, with activities for hardcore competitors and spectators alike. Our community-driven and spectator-friendly approach has led DBT to become a popular social gathering for not just the FGC, but the entire gaming community of LA. DBT began at a brewery in DTLA around the launch of SF6 and has since relocated to the iconic Mama Lion nightclub in Koreatown -- featuring a full bar / kitchen and free entry for spectators. The event is organized by DOWN BACK CLUB, a crew of FGC & SSBM veterans who aimed to revitalize the offline community in LA post-pandemic. DOWN BACK CLUB hosts a variety of events in the LA area, including last year's RISC 2025, an official 2XKO First Impact tournament at the NRG Spectrum Castle in Downtown LA.”

Closing Thoughts
When it comes to your favourite games, do you prefer radio silence until something is ready? Or do you want to see the experiments and early thoughts in realtime? This changes for me all the time. I like to know when something is in development so I can prepare my time around it. Sometimes I just want them to stop talking and release the thing already. I’m noodling on a post about 2XKO’s comms strategy but I need to gather more input first from y’all.
Next weekend, Evo Japan! We’ve got a really sick intro film in the works, and I cannot wait to see what happens at the event. Will bleed run it back? Will the 2WINz defend themselves on home turf? Will the entire French 2XKO community, empowered by the DBFZ spirit bomb, run away with a Major? I can’t wait.
