We’re excited to announce the Red Bull Knockout: a one-day 2XKO invitational where eight teams will represent their country and fight to the top. 

We’ve partnered up with Red Bull to bring this duos-only challenge to Paris, France on May 16.

Red Bull Knockout is the only 2V2 competition on 2XKO. It is intended to take over from the iconic Red Bull Kumite as the new versus fighting event with Red Bull.

Key Event Details

Date: May 16, 2026

Start time: 9am CEST

Location: Salle Wagram (39-41 Av. de Wagram, 75017 Paris, France)

The event will take place in an immersive arena inspired by Ionia. The Salle Wagram will be transformed using immersive scenography.

Spectators can watch on-site at the venue, or tune into an online stream. We’ll share more on how to attend and watch at a later date.

Red Bull Knockout Format

The event will have two parts: the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) and the Showdown. Each bracket will be duos-only, first-to-2 double elimination.

Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ)

Time: 9am - 1pm CEST

A total of seven teams will be invited to participate in Red Bull Knockout, but on the day of the event, one more team will compete to join the tournament.

128 players (64 teams) will fight for the chance to represent Ionia in the main Showdown. To Participate, you can register here: redbull.com/knockout

Showdown

Time: 3PM CEST

Where to watch: 

After we’ve found our eighth team in the LCQ, we’ll move on to the main event: the Showdown. 

Teams representing the United States, France, Japan, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Germany, Spain, and Ionia (the LCQ team) will face off 2v2, until one team is left standing.

1st Place: €6,500 (€3,250 per player)

2nd Place: €3,500 (€1,750 per player)

3rd & 4th Place: €2,500 each (€1,250 per player)

5th & 6th Place: €1,500 each (€750 per player)

7th & 8th Place: €1,000 each (€500 per player)

Participating Teams

All participating countries will be represented by a duo composed of 2 of the local best players starting off with France represented by Wawa and Yasha and the United States represented by SonicFox and Inzem!
