2XKO is coming to Evo 2024, July 19–21. Here’s everything to know before you go.

WHAT’S 2XKO?

2XKO is the free-to-play 2v2 team fighting game developed by Riot Games featuring champions from League of Legends.

The game’s not out yet, but Evo 2024 attendees can play the latest demo at the 2XKO booth during the event. Queue up solo to control both champions on your team, or bring a friend to duo with.

**All visitors will need an Evo 2024 pass to attend. Learn more on the Evo website.

If you’re on your way to the Evo booth, get a crash course on 2XKO’s controls.

WHAT’S NEW FOR 2XKO AT EVO 2024?

We’ve just announced Alpha Lab, our first at-home playtest. If you’re attending Evo, you can get priority Alpha Lab access by filling out a survey at our booth. Register on the Alpha Lab website in advance to save some time.

We’ve also made some updates to the game. Here’s what to expect in the demo.

  • Six champions to play, solo or as a duo.
    • Braum is playable for the first time ever at Evo 2024. See him in action on our YouTube channel, and watch a breakdown of his game plan here.
    • Illaoi, Yasuo, Ekko, Ahri, and Darius return from our previous demos.
  • Four stages inspired by the League of Legends universe.
  • Pulse, the newest addition to the Fuse system.
    • With Pulse selected, mash Light, Medium, or Heavy to get an auto combo. If it’s your first time playing, Pulse can help you jump into the fight right away. Learn more about it here.
  • A few more updates, including:
    • Ahri gameplay changes, adjusting her Foxfire charge system.
    • Tuned damage output and combo length. (Basically, specials do more damage but overall combo length is shorter, so you’ll see more short, higher-damage exchanges.)
    • Champion theme music.
    • UI and quality-of-life adjustments, based on community feedback from earlier demos.

WHAT WILL BE AT THE 2XKO BOOTH?

The booth will feature the playable game demo, merch giveaways, and a live broadcast brought to you in partnership with Tampa Never Sleeps. During Evo 2024, we’ll be streaming on the 2XKO Twitch channel with a variety of 2XKO devs and FGC creators.

  • For more details on our stream schedule, check our socials leading up to the event.
  • For the playable demo, you’ll be able to choose from three types of controllers: fight sticks, gamepads, and Razer Kitsune leverless controllers.

Our booth will be staffed almost entirely by members of the 2XKO dev team. We’d love to help teach the game and hear your feedback, so don’t be afraid to come up and chat with us.

Lastly, be sure to complete the survey at the booth if you’re interested in playtesting at home. Evo attendees can get priority Alpha Lab access.
