Know Before You Go - 2XKO at Evo 2025
WHAT’S 2XKO?
2XKO is Riot Games’ 2v2 team fighting game featuring champions from League of Legends.
Evo 2025 attendees can get their hands on the latest demo at the 2XKO booth. Dive in solo, or grab a friend to duo with. If you’re new to 2XKO, learn more about the game on our website.
**All visitors will need an Evo 2025 pass to attend. Learn more on the Evo website.
WHAT’S AT THE 2XKO EVO BOOTH?
2XKO Demo
The 2XKO booth will feature two ways to play the game: you can choose to play three games, or to play a first-to-ten match. There are separate lines for each match type.
Stations will be equipped with Razer Kitsunes and PlayStation 5 controllers. If you line up for a first-to-ten session, we'll have techs on hand to help you set up your own controller if you’d like.
Here’s a list of compatible controllers:
Hit Box Arcade Hit Box
Hori Fighting Stick Alpha
Hori Fighting Commander OCTA Gamepad
PlayStation®5 DualSense Wireless Controller
PlayStation®4 DualShock Wireless Controller
Punk Workshop Leverless
Razer Kitsune
Razer Panthera
SnackBox Micro
Qanba Obsidian 1
Qanba Obsidian 2
Victrix Pro FS
Xbox Series X|S Wireless Controller
Jump in solo to control both champions on your team, or bring a friend to duo with. If you play and fill out our survey, you'll walk away with a token for our gacha machine, where you’ll get a random 2XKO pin while supplies last.
New Champion: Vi
Our latest champion, Vi, will be playable for the first time at Evo. She's an aggressive boxer who’s easy to pick up, but still gives you plenty to master.
Moves List Booklet
While you’re at the booth, grab our moves list booklet to get a quick download on everything 2XKO, including all our champs and how to play the game.
Photo Opp with Cosplayers
Square up and snap a pic with Vi, Jinx, and Ekko, brought to life by cosplayers Akemikun, Seori, and Foxfrd. Just look for the sign that says “2XKO Photo Opp – Line Start.”
WHAT ELSE IS 2XKO DOING AT EVO 2025?
Evo Map + Stamp Rally
We partnered with legendary artist group eBoy to bring the Evo showfloor to life in their iconic isometric style—and it's a (mostly) accurate map of the area!
Use the map to complete our stamp rally, with four stamps to collect all around Evo. Visit the Chipotle booth, art gallery, and arcade area, then get your final stamp at the 2XKO booth to redeem your prize (while supplies last). You can grab a map at any of the four stops.
Chipotle Partnership
Show up at our booth on Sunday, August 3 at 2:00pm to compete in our livestreamed king-of-the-hill competition sponsored by Chipotle. When you play, you’ll have your gameplay broken down by live commentators. The more consecutive challengers you withstand, the better the rewards you’ll walk away with!
Then head to the Chipotle booth for some friendly competition at their 2XKO cabinets and a live Q&A with our devs. Find out more about 2XKO's partnership with Chipotle here.
Women’s Mixer hosted by Sherryjenix
2XKO is partnering with Sherryjenix to host a special celebration for women in the FGC. The event is Thursday, July 31 at 8:00pm. Space is limited, so please fill out this form to let us know you’re interested in participating. We’ll start sending out invites on Friday, July 25.
WHAT’S NEW FOR 2XKO AT EVO 2025?
We’ve also made some updates to the game since Alpha Lab 2. Here’s a summary of what to expect in the demo.
- EIGHT PLAYABLE CHAMPIONS
- Ahri, Braum, Ekko, Illaoi, Yasuo, Jinx, and Darius return from previous demos.
- Vi is making her debut! She's gonna be punching. Watch her reveal video to get a feel for her fighting style, and look out for a deeper dive into her abilities coming out soon.
- FASTER GAMEPLAY
- To speed up gameplay, we’ve made adjustments to meter gain. Super Meter resets between rounds, and each round starts with one meter. There’s less gray health and it recovers much more slowly. Finally, you’ll no longer receive bonus Break meter when a champ gets KO’d, but the meter now persists between rounds.
- DEFENSE NERFS
- Similarly, we've made some adjustments to defense tools. For example, backdashing, jump blocking, and pushblock are all slightly less powerful.
- Fury Fuse has been adjusted. It lasts longer, does more damage, and grants your normal attacks chip damage.
