2XKO EU COMMUNITY SERIES - SEASON 2
Season 1 was our first step in building a long-term competitive home for the European 2XKO community. We saw regions clash, local heroes rise, and communities unite. Now, we are raising the stakes.
The 2XKO EU Community Series returns for Season 2, officially running from May 20 to August 31, 2026. Our philosophy remains unchanged: shift from "Play to Win" to "Play to Belong". We want to reward consistency, support grassroots organisers, and make every single bracket matter.
But this season, the road to the top is evolving. With upgraded point rewards for local scenes, a brand-new Regional Finals format, and an ultimate ticket to Brazil, Season 2 is built for the players who show up.
SEASON 2 AT A GLANCE
- Season Dates: May 20 to August 31, 2026
- Event Types: Online Community Locals, Community Locals, Community Nationals
- The New Top 8: Regional Leaderboards now qualify the Top 8 players into high-stakes Regional Finals.
- Grand Prize: A fully paid team trip to compete at Battle Coliseum (Brazil).
- Season MVP: The #1 ranked player on the EU Leaderboard at season end.

CONNECTING EUROPE’S LOCAL SCENES
To ensure every player has a path to the top, Season 2 continues with our three-tiered event structure. We have worked hard alongside Event Organisers to bring more tournaments to the calendar than ever before. To match this massive expansion, we are significantly reworking the points for winning Community Locals (now 250 pts) to ensure that defending your home turf is as rewarding as it gets.
COMMUNITY NATIONALS
Major offline events with broader participation and the highest point rewards in the ecosystem.
- Scoring Cap: No cap. All results count.

A CONNECTED ECOSYSTEM
Season 2 focuses on four activated competitive regions:
- France & Benelux (new!)
- Spain
- DACH
- Northern Europe
REGIONAL FINALS
The climb doesn't stop at the Leaderboard. The Top 8 entries from each Regional Leaderboard will earn an exclusive invitation to the Regional Finals, a high-stakes Double Elimination bracket played entirely Best-of-5.
Go in solo or team up with a friend, it’s entirely up to you. The Regional Finals will push the Top 8 to their limits, and the final two left standing will secure their tickets to represent their region at the European Season Finale.
SEASON FINALE
The journey culminates in a live broadcast event where the qualified regional duos will clash for ultimate glory. The winning team will be crowned European Champions and receive the ultimate Grand Prize: a fully paid trip, including flights and accommodation, to compete at Battle Coliseum in Brazil.
SEASON MVP
In addition to regional pride, individual consistency throughout the regular season will be immortalized. The player who finishes Season 2 ranked #1 on the overall EU Leaderboard will be officially crowned the Season 2 MVP and awarded an exclusive commemorative trophy.
SUPPORTING ORGANISERS
The EU Community Series is built on the hard work of Tournament Organisers. Official events will continue to receive structured support, including:
- Official circuit integration and leaderboard tracking via Start.gg.
- Promotional amplification across official Riot channels.
- Broadcast overlays and operational toolkits.
- Financial contributions for Community Nationals to boost prize pools.
All official events must meet our competitive standards and adhere to Riot’s Competitive Code of Conduct.
