Get ready for the first-ever major 2XKO stage. We’ve partnered with Red Bull to bring a massive duos-only invitational to the heart of Paris, France on May 16.

Red Bull Knockout is the only 2v2 competition on 2XKO. It is intended to take over from the iconic Red Bull Kumite as the new versus fighting event with Red Bull.

Key Event Details

Date: May 16, 2026

Start time: 9am CEST

Location: Salle Wagram (39-41 Av. de Wagram, 75017 Paris, France)

The Salle Wagram will be transformed through immersive scenography into an arena inspired by Ionia. You can catch the action in person at the venue or tune in to the online stream. For spectator tickets and LCQ competitor info, head over to redbull.com/knockout. 

Red Bull Knockout Format

The event will have two parts: the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) and the Showdown. Each bracket will be duos-only, first-to-2 double elimination.

Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ)

Time: 9am - 1pm CEST

The stakes: 128 players (64 teams) will battle for a single open slot in the main event.

The reward: The winning duo will represent “Ionia” in the afternoon Showdown.

Showdown

Time: 3PM CEST

The Competitors: Seven invited national teams and the LCQ winner will face off 2v2 until one team remains.

The Perks

  • All LCQ & Showdown competitors will be eligible to receive the “Knockout Contender” player title.

  • Anyone who attends the event will be eligible to receive an in-game item (details to follow soon).

These rewards will be available in-game from patch 1.2.3.

After we’ve found our eighth team in the morning LCQ, the main event begins. Teams representing France, the United States, Japan, United Kingdom, Sweden, Germany, Spain, and Ionia will face off in the 2v2 arena until only one duo is left standing.
